Characters for NIKE Made to Play initiative !! The initiative invests in getting kids outside to play, it’s especially geared towards getting girls involved in sports at a young age. These cute buds appeared in a sticker pack for programs in Boyle Heights and Watts.
While these characters were designed to look illustrative and perfectly imperfect, they needed to be scalable -- I solved this problem by rendering final designs in Adobe Fresco, which supports vector brushes better than results attempted in Illustrator.
