Welcome to Synth was designed to demystify synth music by visualizing the creative process.
I stepped onto this project with The Furrow after the design and animation styles had already been well-established. Part of my process to work within the design language as quickly as possible involved hand drawing quick, fresh iterations of Welcome to Synth's shape configurations.
I built upon the strongest designs, dialing them in with color and light while taking note of how animation was bringing these frames to life. The end results are absolutely stunning as standalone works of art, but this project's thoughtful and effective storytelling couldn't be more captivating.
